This new wedding venue in Monroe, North Carolina, is quickly becoming a favorite among engaged couples and photographers. We enjoyed being one of the first few photographers to work at this venue, and we fell in love the moment we arrived.
From a photographer's standpoint, this venue has many beautiful scenes for portraits. There are wide open fields, lush woods (shown in this image), the barn itself, and of course, the pond area where ceremonies take place. There is also a porch on one side of the barn. This area is excellent for portraits as well, as the overhang provides soft light and the wood of the barn is the backdrop.
One draw for couples is this venue is all-inclusive. Being all-inclusive greatly reduces the stress of wedding planning. Ashley is very knowledgeable and has an excellent vendor list to make the process a breeze. While the price may seem high at first glance, it is actually quite reasonable for this area. The cost of choosing independent vendors can easily cost you more, and it will also cost you more of your time.
Another draw is that this venue is so new. The exterior of the barn is original, but the inside is brand new. The bridal suite is especially large and has plenty of light to make sure everyone's hair and makeup looks its best before it's time to walk down the aisle. It comes equipped with a large garment hanging area, a full-length mirror, a 3-mirrored hair and makeup table, as well as a settee and chairs so all of your nearest and dearest can enjoy getting ready together.
