Pavilion at Silver Fork Wedding

Newly wed couple smiling with foreheads touching under a lush floral arbor
Isn’t this arbor one of the most beautiful designs you’ve ever seen?! Every detail of this wedding was so elegantly pieced together. If you’re looking to get married in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this venue should be high on your list!

Wedding at the Pavilion at Silver Fork

This wedding was one of my personal favorites of 2019. I had never had the pleasure of photographing at the Pavilion at Silver Fork, and I am so grateful Tara Marie Photography asked me to accompany her in covering the day. While we fought against the rain, and the ceremony ended up being moved inside, it certainly didn’t put a damper on the day. In fact, everyone was so laid back, we grabbed several photos out in the rain! Continue scrolling to see a small sampling of this Blue Ridge Mountain wedding!

The Location

This venue has such an incredible location. With sweeping southern facing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, it’s truly one that’s hard to beat. It is tucked away on a mountainside in Morganton, North Carolina. The drive isn’t tough, or too far off a main road. Therefore, there is no need to worry about guests having trouble. The pavilion itself is quite spacious, and the outside area offers plenty of greenery even in October. The vineyards are a just short walk away, and of course provide a perfect backdrop for photos.

The Décor

This couple’s style was very classy and elegant. They tied in the blue and red color palette so well. Stunning blue linens adorned the tables, with bouquets and candles giving an inviting, warm ambiance. The built-in see-through fireplace behind the sweetheart table only added to the cozy feel.

The arbor for the ceremony site was one of the most breathtaking setups I have ever seen in person. Lush greenery so perfectly tailored around red roses gave an organic and romantic feel. Thus, it is a shame the couple didn’t marry standing in front of this work of art, but rest assured, it was enjoyed by each and every guest.

We hope this gives inspiration to current and future couples! Love our work? Get in touch! We’d love to speak with you about your photography needs.
